Oh no. I love you NPH, and I love you Batman… but no. This is not cool. This is some little nerd-o who wants to be as brilliant as the Joss, sitting in his office at CN thinking of ways to attempt to be as cool as Joss, and do a musical (everyone will be doing them again) and it falls short. What made Dr. Horrible totally amazingly awesome was the WRITING. The songs were catchy and the lyrics were hiliarious and piognant. CN… what have you done? Go back to the drawing board. Oh and while your at it, go back to the Dark Knight, not the Blue early days costume. It is not cool.

Speaking of nerds, and geeks; check out this article. I heard more about it last week, but I don’t recall where… maybe on talk radio. Not 100% sure where I heard it. Not that it matters. But this is some what fascinating. So yes, this may be true, that the pill is effecting the internal, animalistic, natural selection, inside our heads and beyond our control human beingness. Now, this sort of has nothing to do with me, and nothing to do with how my internalness works out. (smirk) Because I have never taken the pill, and well, being GAY, I sort of don’t fall into this chatagotry. Though there are men that I think I could breed with; though not the old fashioned way. LOL. And as I am so over the whole having children thing; well yeah, this just doesn’t apply to me at all. But isn’t it fascinating?! It explains so much, if you are like me and a watcher of human beings and human behavior. So interesting. And kind of explains the whole divorce rate (and they don’t want gays to marry??!!?!?! ) and why women are hooking up with these pussy acting / looking men. I’m not hating, I am just telling it as I see it.

Oh, and something not so Awesome? TBTL… seems like it jumped the shark. This makes me sad. *tear* let’s hope it turns it around. C’mon!

Chocolate Covered Bacon? Better idea on paper than in practice. Let’s save it for an episode of Chopped, instead of something you get at the State Fair. Because. It was not what expectations hyped it to be. But aside from weird ass food stuffs, the Evergreen State Fair rocked! It was a nice day, and there were lots of cute little animals. Fun was had by all.

In other news, I am waiting on the repair person to get here and have a look see at the dryer. I am interested to hear not only the diagnosis, but also the estimate. Because I have an idea of how much cost versus charge is. So it will be entertaining.

There are times when that phrase, ‘Chester Copperpot!‘ jumps into my mind. Sort of like an expletive, which, is weird, as it is a name of a… If you’ve seen Goonies you know. And if you haven’t seen Goonies what is wrong with you? Google it, order it, download it, rent it. Jeez.

Any way. Back to a topic (loosely) So apparently my Sista thinks I was too harsh yesterday in my Megan Fox rant. Her POV was that, hey maybe this young starlet is a good actress, she just keeps getting put into movies where they dumb her down and go for the crotch shots. She may be good for Batman, and maybe, just maybe Christopher Nolan knows what he is doing in casting her.  (Plus the sista did not like my suggestions for other actresses. whateva)

I can take the high road. I can say I will now shelve my opinion until I see the new Batman movie. I will sing her praises if she does a good job at portraying Selina Kyle. Or be a scathing voice, here in my own personal corner of the Internet.

In other news, as it relates to things outside the 1’s and 0’s, (i.e. MeatSpace) I am almost done reading Accelerando, and am not dreaming about lobsters any more (if you have read the book then you understand) but it is a little mind blowing in it’s allegory of how fast technology can move the evolution of species / societies. Little unnerving. Though I think the whole planet dismantling isn’t something that will jump start any time soon. Now, conscious corporations on the other hand… interesting. In that freaky sort of way. I’m glad I stuck with reading it. It is a nice escape, from the meatspace realities, like traffic, teacher strikes, construction noise, and complaining news pundits. A the contradictions of life. Or InfoNews.

In other Batman news. Have you heard about the new game? Batman: Arkham Asylum. Totally awesome looking. And I squee with nerdy joy, because this is based on my favorite Batman comic. Hazzah. I have downloaded the game demo, and look forward to finding some time in the very near future to play it and experience the goodie filled darkness that is Arkham Asylum.

I feel like my nerd percentage has gone up exponentially the last few days. Which, part of me is giddy, the other part is a little leery. As in, um, there is a fine line and I have one foot over it.

In the coming days I hope I will get my cool factor rating lifted and my nerd percentage will balance out. And OMG talk like this, personal value percentage is totally part and parcel of the whole book I am reading, and how currency moves from monies to the value of someone… okay. I am getting away from the computer now.

Yes, I know, This is a image heavy post. Not that there isn’t a billion things to talk about. But rather, I just have to put my foot down. (and yes I know it won’t matter all that much, but still I am putting it down!)

So as I was skimming Felicia Day’s Twitter (I am still against Twitter, and friends don’t let friends twitter!!!! BUT, I do enjoy looking at the celebrities tweets.) And I read that there is talk about the next Batman, and who they have slated to play Selina Kyle, aka The Catwoman… Megan Fox… OMG! ARE THEY SERIOUS? A card board cut out who is bland and who is not attractive at all. I am serious when I say that this woman person looks like a tranny who went a little to crazy with the silicone injection in her lips. You know I am right on this! The picture of the NOT Hot Megan Fox is the only decent one I could find. Because I don’t want an ugly tranny on my blog. ((and point of fact, before you get all annoying and angry at my use of the word ‘tranny’ I know many a tranny, and thus I am given the magic card to use that moniker as I see fit. Just like I can say fag, dyke, dingo, mic. Okay? So get over it.)) This girl should be no where near the set of Batman. They finally got a good franchise going, with amazing actors who are bringing the comics to life… and then they muck it up by saying that Megan Fox will be Catwoman? Maybe Poison Ivy… but CATWOMAN!!!

No No NNNNOOOO.

I say, you want someone attractive, HOT, and a talented actress to be Selina Kyle? Why not:

Charlize Theron? Looks great with blond hair or dark hair. And we KNOW she can act!!

Zooey Deschanel, fits the physical ideology of Catwoman, and image that, she can act!

Summer Glau. I know right? Did you see that one coming? Probably not. But isn’t it a good fit? Think about it. Complex and kick ass. Think about it!

Emily Deschanel, while I think she is a little flat, but she TOTALLY fits the bill. Did you SEE her in the Halloween episode of Bones where she was WonderWoman? …. ooooo WonderWoman.

I am staying on point. I get that physically a female with Dark Hair and Light Eyes is Selina Kyle. But more so it is (I admit) physical attributes that I am most attracted to. But that does not mean that I want a rich and diverse character such as Selina Kyle to be played by someone who does nothing but wears hot pants, bends over, runs without a bra on and makes that stupid face. That ‘duh I’m a girl, I don’t know how to do anything’  I call BULLSHIT on this casting choice.

I will be seeing the next Batman movie though… It is BATMAN after all. And If I watched Batman & Robin, I can watch anything. Doesn’t mean I am going to like it.
