I love that the Seattlest is making Tuesdays Muppet days. And hello, I freaking LOVE Pepe! He was the total star of ‘Muppet’s Wizard of Oz.’ You must see it. And see Pepe! Don’t think for a second that Muppet’s are just for kids. As we all recall from the viral storm that was the Muppet’slast month, they are refreshing and relatable for all. Now I found this, but don’t know how legit it is. Legit or not, O.M.G. It is funny.

Kudos to the lovely NPH for winning the ‘Big Gay Battle’on AfterElton (though, hello, seriously? We all love AfterEllen, and it has been around for a long time, and sure the boys need love too, but seriously? AfterElton? Though, have to say, kudos on the free advertisement by having the Big Gay Battle) NPH was voted Gay/Bisexual Man of the Decade, you know for the previous one. And well deserved. Especially for the last two years and all the exposure. Plus he is uber talented. We like him. *nods* And if you have no idea what I am talking about, google it people!

And apparently the world is slowly covering with ice. I saw a kick ass picture of the UK, all white. (from space people) and now I can’t find it again. So I say, google it again. (no I won’t do it for you. I am allotted 5 minutes as my report downloads to blog, and I am making the most of it!!!) UGH! Fine twist my arm. Here it is:

Interestingly enough I discovered something new. Er, Newsish. When I was at the movies the other day, (seeing 2012) and pretty much the one thing that I came away with was something totally interesting. I like skittles. Now, let me say, before going to the movies, and munching on my greasy popcorn, I discovered that wow… I like Skittles. So much in fact that I nearly ate all of Mary’s Skittles. I can’t even recall the last time I had eaten skittles, (I am being totally serious) I could not remember what they tasted like or when I had them last. But ah-ha! I like them. So much in fact that I picked some up at 7-11 the other day. Oh yes. I did. Now I know this is not mind altering, world changing blogging. But seriously. I DO like Skittles. And that is fairly interesting to me.

I’ve been having a reoccurring obsession the past few months. That obsession being Hamlet. The movie version. The GOOD movie version. Kenneth Branagh’s version. It is, without a hesitation the best adaptation I have seen on the screen. Sure there could have been a stage production out there at one time which was better, but hello, I am me, and I don’t go to NYC to see Broadway renditions of Shakespeare. I watch them. On my TV.  And this one was my favorite. I used to rent it at the corner video store for .50. I am still looking for a copy to add to my reclaimed collection of films I love. Not that I am asking you to hook a sister up, but rather I am totally thinking about it, having random dreams about it, and I really want to add it to the rank and file (Rank and File Being: Dangerous Liaisons : Amadeus : Impromptu : Anne of Green Gables : Mary Poppins : ) I recommend it whole heartedly.  As well as any of the other rank and file movies. I am totally jonesing for a movie day. And Huzzah! Luckily Thanksgiving is right around the corner. And we all know that Thanksgiving = Food and Movies.

Oh! I meant to mention this before. What’s with the hate out there over January Jones? Seriously. Since she did SNL (and hello SNL jumped the shark years ago and no one likes it and it isn’t funny. Because the funny left the building and got her own show ::Tina Fey::) Is it January’s fault that she was given crap scripts? Or that it is pretty clear that she has a cold? I mean hello. Stop the hate people. I have seen some HORRIBLE things come out of SNL lately (seen as in saw them on the web, no way I am staying up nor wasting DVR space on that show) Did you SEE the train wreck that was Lady Gaga (WhoTF is she any way?) And Madonna??? HORRIBLE. So. People get off Ms. Jones Nuts. Sure Madmen is a great show… slow and hard to understand or stay awake through every episode, but it is still a damn fine show. Plus she is pretty. So leave the lady alone.

And speaking of HORRIBLE. As in Dr. HORRIBLE, the one off comic is out today. Go Team Dark Horse. Check it out. Mine is in the mail and on it’s way to me. Hurray!

Oh deary. Let me tell you, if we are talking, and I am telling you that I am attempting to be butch by fixing something electronic, could you do me a favor and tell me no. Just tell me no. Seriously. Case in point, I fiddled with the dead dryer. couldn’t get the thingy closed, put the damn thing back, plugged it in, AND THEN TRIED AGAIN. Thus causing me to getting ZAPPED with too much electricity. So I am sort of Durrr currently. I think I got jump started… or something.

In related news, the repair-person will be out on Tuesday to look at / fix said dryer. We opted to fix versus buying new… depending on the outcome of the estimate that is. Home Ownership is rad!

As I was running errands on Thursday I saw not one but TWO of my fellow lesbian-ic homies walking about. And I have to say the following: To my sistas of Sappho…. GET A HAIR CUT. No more mullets. No more faux hawks. Just. No. More.

Thursday and Friday were no cooking days by me, due to it being pay day and then Friday we hung out at the laundry mat (sing with me ‘laundry day, see you there, underthings, tumbling’) which was kind of awesome in a weird way. There was people watching, but the people were pretty low key. This is where I live after all, and I am one of the weirdest homies in town if I do say so myself. And I am pretty begien.

Now it is a rainy glorious Saturday morning and I am just about awake enough for us to head out. Going to hit the E.S.F. HELL YEAH! I am excited. Woo hoo. Perhaps pictures later… perhaps not. I am fickle like that.

There are so many things in the world to get disgusted over / about. Here is just one. We have a financial and governmental state in this country, and yet YET we are allowing this to take place? Seriously?
Why aren’t things like this covered in the actual news? And WHY oh WHY are we giving billions of dollars to help rebuild a country, and have our finger in their oil coffers, and direct them on policy, but when it comes to the mass execution of a group of people we just turn our backs and put our fingers in our ears?

Budget illogic is the topic of news today, and there are so many things I could rant about, what is the most annoying to me, is these teachers and their unions bitching about the small cuts to their exorbant budget, and how it will effect the public in making class room attendance raise in an average of one student. So classes will go up to 26 kids. Huh. I remember school. I remember there being 35 to 40 kids in each class. I remember my english class having so many students in it that I sat on a bench by the window. And I don’t think that effected me negatively. I think it focused the whole group. Whiny teachers union can suck an onion. They need to restructure ala Detroit. It is broken, and it needs to be fixed…. ugh. I am breathing in breathing out.
