I heard that quote yesterday in the oddest of places, on Criminal Minds, a show I never watch, but did tape because gavin rossdale was on it, and I like him for some odd reason. Perhaps it was due to his character in Constantine. Who knows for sure. Or that he is married to Gwen. Or that I am a closeted BUSH fan. There could be so many reasons. Or not. As it was, I taped it. AWESOME version of him singing ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ (I heart Joy Division!!) The episode was okay, but the quote just resonated like a loud vibrating gong in my head and psyche. So I have opted to share it with you.

I am over my hurt anger at FOX for canceling yet ANOTHER show out of the mind spring of the Whedonverse. We all knew it was going to happen, doesn’t mean it still didn’t hurt when it did. But hey, I am a big girl and will accept my fate and move on. I’ll be resigned to watching the DVDs. Just as I am with Buffy, Angel, Firefly, BSG… wait a second. I sense a trend here… oh me!

It is Friday, so I may watch some DOLLHOUSE DVDS (after I catch up with Project Runway, V, and Grey’s… none of which are as good as a Whedon project *sniffle*)

Speaking of TV, yesterday as I was watching MERCY (yes another show for me to waste my time with, and it is nice when Michelle Dawn talks in a normal voice and not all screaming screeching, and isn’t it weird that she is on TWO network shows right now? WTF) I decided, firmly and sincerely that I do not want to get old. Just. NO. I don’t wanna! All the things that happen when you get old, and your body falls apart and just… my mind is reeling with the possible complications. So again, I say a world of no thank you!

Aww man. I am craving a PB&J sandwich, and all we have is freaking 100% natural organic peanut butter…. where is Jiff! I want my Jiffy goodness. (relents and resigns herself to a healthy sandwich, which was good and satisfied said craving)

It is COLD today. And you know what that means? No? Me neither, I was hoping you did. Huh.

I’m still not my best *wink* so I think I want to forgo any extravagant dinner making plans, and either just have what ever the pantry gods have in store, or hoof it out to a local eatery. Something easy would be nice.

And I just realized I have like 5 new video games I need to be playing. Therefore I am so glad I will be taking time off later this month to do just that. Sit around in my Pj’s playing games like the uber nerd I am proud to be.

Don’t forget chickens! Check out LoTS(legend of the seeker) on Sunday, for some awesome sword clanging, hot woman in leather, excitement. Embrace the magic that is LoTS! And if you haven’t seen last weeks season premiere with Ms. Carpenter. What is up with that? Get to it! You will enjoy it for what it is, albeit you will probably be confused as to what is going on, but just go with it, or take the time to watch all of season one first. I’d say read the books, but that would take a while, and this show is still so much NOT like the books as much as it is. That makes sense on some level. *shrug* Just enjoy. Yay for the weekend!

I swear to whomever, if they cancel Dollhouse and all the unanswered questions fall into the same bucket in my brain as the bluehands; I don’t know if my little meek and mild brain can take it. So many unanswered questions from the twisted and rollercoastery mind of Joss Whedon. Argh.

And if the bluehands means anything to you then you my friend are as lost in the bucket of Whedon as I am. Unless you ARE someone with the inside scoop and know what that meant / what they were. (I am sure I could look on the internet… but, I don’t want to know! outside of the context of watching the answer unfold in TV / Movie Format).

“Omega” was a kick ass episode, and was very much Joss, IMHO. There were scenes and comments that flowed in a way that triggered that happy warm fuzzy feeling I get inside when I watch something from the mind of Joss. (speaking of, my latest comic for Buffy Season 8 needs to get here, to me, stat!)

Eliza was rocking and bad ass. And can I say for the record… Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Some things were answered (in that magical way of not really being answered) and the door was opened on a thousand other hallways… the promise of story lines to come. And I would so love it if FOX execs would stand back and let the stories be told. I know we don’t need to keep seeing Eliza half naked and being a ‘doll’ whore. (I know, I can’t believe I said that either!) But we can see all the variety of story lines that could be told, where we can understand or even contemplate immorality and morality. What should be accepted and what should not. There could just be so MUCH MORE. So we need more.

There is so little good TV out there. And I hate it when we lose the good stuff, and they just give us more of the mindless twaddle that we don’t need. Maybe they are working towards making a dumb and more malleable society. *shudder* I won’t think about that yet. I will think happy thoughts. That they will renew the good shows.
We need to have another season of Dollhouse. Period. So I say nicely. Give us more, and no one gets hurt.

Ugh. Wow. What-a-day. If it weren’t for my fellow team members at work I would still be up to my eyeballs in a certain project. Meh! Yay for them and their help!

In other news… WTF? ‘FOX not airing Dollhouse ep 13′ What in the world is going on with FOX? They are really mentally lost some times. They have one or two good shows (Dollhouse being one of them, Bones the other – connection any one?) So aside from the AI crap that they play every damn night, what is left? If you want more info, google it. I will be doing the same thing later / or tomorrow. It just through me for a loop. Because seriously. So Dollhouse isn’t Buffy – yet. Buffy wasn’t Buffy until season two anyway! Sweet Mary of Molasses!! If FOX cancels Dollhouse I am going to be peeved. and sort of not believing them worthy any more; one strike already for cancelling Firefly. Do they really want to strike out a second time?
