chatter → let the good times roll
For those of you who live in the greater Puget Sound area, you should get yourself over to XXX Drive In, in Issaquah. It’s a place chock full of overwhelming stimuli, and harkins you back to the ‘good ole days’ of drive in dinners, giant root beers, and car aficionados. If none of those things sounds good to you, then you probably don’t want to go there. But if it sounds intriguing, then get over there.
The burgers were good, and the root beer float was mammoth, and pretty good too! I love a good root beer (my favorite is Virgil’s). With the sounds, sights, and smells, this place is a great way to step back into the bygone era. Though be for warned, some of the burgers are mammoth; and they only take cash! So get some of the green paper before you settle down in a booth for some good ole timey fun.
And in other news… bearish news,
There was reports of a black bear living in the median of I-5 near Stanwood, Wa. Check here for some video feed (have to watch the commercial first) It’s running around, doing it’s thing. What I wonder is how the heck did it get there in the first place!! Smart bear!
As of Thursday the wildlife police were able to capture the bear, using doughnuts, bacon grease, and honey. (the similarities are eerie! You could catch me with that as well!) The now famous bear is being relocated to the Cascade foothills, and hopefully will make itself a nice home there. It’s that time of year again, and I am on the look out for more bear sightings.
